Registration for Reporters and Editors is a two step process;
First; you need to register as a User. To register; simply click on REGISTER in the Top Menu, type the information, and click 'Create new account'. You will then receive an email to confirm your email address and complete your User registration process. Open that email and click on the link to complete the First part of registration (this part is required for leaving comments and participating in Polls).
Second; If you not already in UMMnews site, then go backto the site and login by clicking on LOG IN in the Top menu, and by typing the User Id and Password you provided in the first step;
- Click MY ACCOUNT in the Top menu,
- Click Edit button below your User Id (next to red View button),
- Provide additional information; such as your First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Address, Telephone, etc. Provide as much information as possible. Note that you don't need to provide/change your Password in this step.
- Tick Declarations (if you agree), then click Save button. (System may stay on the Registration page after you clicked Save. In that case; just click HOME)
- UMMnews Administrator will review your registration information, grant you an appropriate level access, and inform you via email.
- You are now good to go.
Please note: You are expected to have some editing experience and/or qualifications to register for Editor. If you don't have it, we suggest that you register for Reporter first, gain some reporting experience, and then register as Editor.

We welcome everyone to join, participate and enjoy the [] community. We appreciate your efforts and contributions. We believe it helps for the betterment of the society.
People enjoy using [] because they believe in the purpose this site was formed. People contribute to [] for the same reasons.
But there will always be occasions when someone will join [] community just to disrupt that purpose and the enjoyment. They may be disruptive by nature, or they are paid to that.
We do not want these sort of users to hamper the participation and enjoyment of other users. Its for these reasons, and those mentioned in the Code of Conduct and Terms and Conditions of Use, we need to restrict or remove such users.
