BEIRUT, Sept 17 (NNN-NNA) – Lebanese President, Michel Aoun, called for a stronger commitment to the Palestinian cause and warned about Israel’s “conspiracy” plans in the region, Lebanese presidency’s website, said.
“Israel believes that, circumstances are very suitable now to implement its plans in Arab countries, such as the ‘Deal of the Century,’ in light of fragmentation among Arab countries,” Aoun said.
“Trying to impose solutions on us must awaken everyone to return to the core issue, because if we do not, we will definitely reach a very difficult end,” he said.
He added that, the annexation of more Palestinian lands to Israel has become one of the main means used in Israel for the election race.
“Therefore, we must be more committed to the Palestinian cause, and listen to the voice of reason and heart, especially that Israel is working hard on dividing people in our region,” he said.
