BEIRUT, Sept 21 (NNN-NNA) – Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, said that, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia are preparing to sign 19 economic agreements.
“We are working on holding a meeting for the Saudi- Lebanese High Joint Committee, to discuss how the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can support Lebanon financially,” Hariri said, on the sidelines of the meeting with French President, Emmanuel Macron, at the Elysee Palace in Paris.
Hariri emphasised the importance of this event by saying that, this is the first time that a high joint committee is held between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. “This way we will be able to work better together,” he said.
Prime Minister Hariri travelled to Paris on Thursday, in a bid to meet with President Macron and other French officials, to negotiate several matters of interest to the two countries, namely CEDRE reforms and investments.
