GAZA, Nov 30 (NNN-WAFA) – A Palestinian teenager was killed and another injured on Friday afternoon, by Israeli gunfire, in the east of the southern Gaza Strip.
The Health Ministry in Gaza said, Israeli soldiers shot and killed 16-year-old Fahed el-Astal and wounded another teenager near the border fence.
The teen was shot in his abdomen and died shortly after arriving at the hospital in southern Gaza.
Earlier in the day, medics said, a Palestinian succumbed to his wounds sustained during the recent violence in Gaza between the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and Israel.
Meanwhile, Ashraf al-Qedra, the ministry spokesman, said, a man died of his wounds, sustained in an explosion in the northern Gaza Strip.
Sources said, the man is a member of al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, the armed wing of Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah movement.
Al-Qedra said, the casualty toll in Israeli military offensive on the Gaza Strip, had grown to 36 killed, 20 of them civilians, and more than 100 others injured.
Meanwhile, the Highest Commission of the Great March of Return announced on Friday, it decided to postpone the weekly anti-Israel protests on the border between the eastern Gaza Strip and Israel.
It is the third consecutive Friday that the commission postpones the weekly anti-Israel rallies, which said, the postponement resulted from fear of Israeli retaliation.
The anti-Israel protests started in March last year, and went on every week, to demand the lift of a tight blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip since 2007, when Hamas seized control of the enclave.
The Health Ministry in Gaza said that the Israeli army has killed 313 Palestinian demonstrators and wounded more than 19,000 others, by live ammunition, since the beginning of the rallies last year.
