Kolkata, January 27; GANASHAKTI: Lakhs of determined Left activists enacted human chain all over the state to observe the 70th Republic Day of the country and took oath for the upkeepment of the values of India’s constitution and for secularism , National Unity and sovereignty of the country .
Left Front Chairman Biman Basu , CPI(M) West Bengal State committee Secretary Suryakanta Mishra , CPI State Secretary Swapan Banerjee, RSP leader Manoj Bhattacharya, Forward Block leader Hafiz Ali Sairani and other leaders of Left Front constituent parties were present in the Human Chain enacted in Central Kolkata.
Human chains were enacted on behalf of Left Activists in all the 20 districts of the state. The Left Front activist also also took oath to protect Sovereignty and National Unity during the enactment of the Human Chain. In DSP Durgapur, Workers enacted Human Chain . In Howrah districts Shibpur Botanical area. CPI(M) Politbureau Member Md Salim took part in Human Chain in Baharapore area of Murshidabad district, along with Muirshidabd District Secretary Mriganka Bhattacharya and other party leaders were present in the programme. In New Barrackpore of North 24 Parganas district, thousands of AIDWA activists enacted Human chains, in the heart of the Municiapal area. In Nadia districts Krishnanagr over 2 km human chain was enacted and was participated by Nadia District Secretary Sumit Dey CPI(M) MLA MA Saadi,and other leaders. In Siliguri of North Bengal, Siliguri Mayor and Party State Secretariat Member Ashok Bhattacharya, Darjeeling district CPI(M) Secretary Jibesh Sarkar took part in enacting human Chain in Hillkart road along with thousands of activist, and took oath to defend the secular progressive values of Indian constitution.
After the enactment of the human chain in Kolkata, CPI(M) Politbureau Member and Left Front Chairman Biman Basu speaking in a gathering to Human Chain participants , warned about the imminent danger of sovereignty, National integration and harmony coming from the ruling party of the country and called to thwart it by forging strong peoples Movement in the state . TMC ,The Ruling party of the state and its supremo, CM Mamata Bnaerjee is a destryer of democracy and human rights and her hooligans is running utter chaos in the state , he said and called on to the people to join the Peoples Brigade called on February 3rd , to give a stern warning to the Ruling TMC Government and the communal BJP , before the impending Loksabha elections of the country.
