KANPUR: Excess of everything is bad. This theory applies in use of mobile too. Too much talk on mobile enhances risk of damaging wrist’s veins. Besides, the fingers remain under pressure thereby causing vibrations in the hand, said the doctors participating at the workshop organised by UP Orthopaedic Association & the Regency Health Care at Ganesh Shanker Vidyarthi Memorial medical college here on Sunday.
Speaking at the Wrist and Hand Course, Dr Anil Bhatt, senior orthopaedic surgeon, stated that the bones around the wrists were very slender and lean.
The doctors also pointed out the bones’ structure disfigures owing to the injuries on many occasions. In case of dislocation of the wrist bone a very typical surgery is required. But there is no need to be pessimistic. The cure is possible through arthroscopy.
Earlier, the college principal Arti Lalchandani and Dr Atul Kapoor, managing director of the Regency Health Care, inaugurated the workshop. City’s prominent arthopaedicians were present at the programme.
