Kanpur: Firefighting systems have been tested in large factories in the Kanpur Dehat district. According to the news, about 20 factories do not have No-Objection Certificates.
Reacting to this lapse, the chief fire officer Surendra Singh said that the notices will be issued to 13 hotels and four private hospital operators.
At the same time, instructions have been given to factory operators to make arrangements for fire fighting, added the officer.
A total of 36 factories operating in industrial areas were checked, out of which fire NOC was not received in twenty.
In some factories, the resources were not even found as per the requirement.
Now these factory operators will be issued notices, after which further action will be taken.
Notices will be issued to hotel operators in areas like Sikandara, Roora, Rania and Akabarpur. As many as four private nursing homes were found not using firefighting devices in Sikandara, Raipur, Roora, and Akbarpur,
When the teams of the fire department investigated under the leadership of the Chief Fire Officer, fire NOC was not received in any of the 13 hotels operating in the district.
In many hotels, only submersible pumps are available to extinguish the fire.
