GROZNY, October 5. /TASS/: Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov has set a record on the number of sanctions, imposed against any one person in the world, according to a certificate, presented to Kadyrov by the Russian Book of Records editor-in-chief Stanislav Konenko.
October 5 marks the 204th anniversary of the city of Grozny and Kadyrov’s 46th birthday.
"Record applications were filed. We’ve examined them and came to a conclusion: the record of ‘the highest number of personal sanctions restrictions imposed against a single person’ goes to Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov - 15 sanctions," Konenko said.
Kadyrov also won a record of "the highest number of sanctions restrictions, imposed against a person, their relatives and followers in the world."
Earlier, Kadyrov called himself a record holder by the number of sanctions imposed against him. The head of Chechnya noted that he surpassed DPRK leader Kim Jong-Un, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Syrian President Bashar Assad. According to Kadyrov, at least 70 restrictions have been imposed against himself, his family, followers, property and organizations since 2011.
