The Rafale Deal is getting murkier by the day - on one hand the Govt is not speaking out clearly, on the other hand Reliance Defence is issuing legal notices to publications.
All this while the opposition is trying to latch on to the issue and given BJP a taste of Bofors.
However beyond politics - there are some very basic and glaring questions of the Rafale deal that beg answers.
For starters we paid 60,000crs for 36 aircraft that will only finish their delivery to India in 2022 - what about the gaping hole in our air defences ??? We need close to 300 fighters - not 36.
