Kanpur: Jajmau has two petrol pumps which help the residents to get their vehicles filled with petrol or diesel. But the consumers remain annoyed with the way the attendants weigh the quantity of petrol or diesel. The vehicle owners who flock the petrol pumps always face some problem.
The attendants in their uniform seldom accept what the consumers request. If one vehicle owner asks him to adjust the metre it is not always heard. If one demands petrol of rupees one hundred, the attendant runs the metre as it never shows the petrol has been poured off the full amount. The nozzle of the petrol pipe is pulled from the vehicle's tank too early. So the drops of fuel start falling over the ground. If the consumer objects in the strongest way, the attempt is made to silence him. If the consumer leaves ten rupees in balance with the attendant he forgets it. But in the case of balance with the consumer, the attendants continue to remember even after the payment.
The petrol pumps provided fuel to the riders wearing helmets strictly. Several consumers accept that there comes no let-up in short weighing despite stricter traffic rules.
