India: BJP MLA beats Police constable, forces to drink urine

Pilibhit; 02 January 2020 (UMM):  BJP MLA from UP’s Pilibit, Kishan Lal Rajput, his nephews ShiShabh and Rahul, and his supporters, have been accused for beating  police constable Mohit Gurjar with shoes, and mading him drink urine. They also took his gold chain and wallet.

Gurjar alleged that BJP MLA and his goons beat him at Pilibhit Mandi, and fired at him when he tried to run away towards Asam Road Police Station. Rajput with his goons followed him and continued beating him in presence of police officers. He also forced him to drink urine.

Gurjar had bought a motorbike from Rahul in Rs 50,000. Rahul did not provide necessary papers. When asked to refund the money, Rahul asked him to come to Pilibhit Mandi, where he was waiting with Rajput and his goons. When Gurjar arrived the place, he was attacked.

Gurjar lodged a complaint at Sungarhi police station but no action was taken until he went to the court.

Police officer Rajesh Kumar told ANI that an FIR has been lodged against BJP MLA Kishan Lal Rajput, his nephews, 16 known and 35 unknown supporters, with clause 397 and 395 (robbery and causing injuries).
