KANPUR: It seems that another spell of cold weather begins with the dense fog enveloping the whole of the Cantonment area in Jajmau here on Monday.
Though there was some respite from the onslaught of adverse in the yesterdays, the fog has brought many woes to the residents. The mist continued after 10 a.m. today. The visibility remains poor as the moving vehicles were seen running with even headlights on.
Parents were overheard saying why did the schools not closed today? The icy cold caused the two wheeler drivers to drive with much difficulty.
Some old citizens were conversing that this kind of weather will persist one fortnight. It can be taken as a guess as there is no certainty of weather conditions.
