Kanpur: Consumers at the window counter of the power sub-division coming under Jajmau Division felt no annoyance in depositing their respective electricity bills on Thursday afternoon. The reason behind this was straight, no crowd was converged at the concluding days of the month.
Even the consumers' face was brightening with a satisfactory gleam as they were not minding the passing of time to reach the counter. They knew it that there was no need to rush though the weather's icy condition was disturbing them in the queue.
The consumers expressed that the crowd was not available. The counter clerk was taking ample time in counting the amount of the bill. One consumer gave him fifteen rupees in the coin of rupee one or two. His face was worth reading as counting of the coins continued by him thrice. He even cooperated with the consumers if the bill was wrongly deposited.
What remained most satisfactory was that the computer operator was quickly printing the copy of the paid bill. Otherwise, the consumers if the crowd happens to be there, have to kill an extra-long time in securing the computerised copy. Every consumer present said that this was the benefit of the computerisation in real terms.
