KANPUR: What is the use of Passbook Printing Machine in the bank's branch if it is not functioning properly!
Not only one but several other savings accounts holders of a nationalised bank's branch in Jajmau find the machine unusual. The passbook once inserted for printing the balance details does not come out of the machine. It remains inside the machine until someone's help does not emanate.
The quick answer from the bank officials for this fault remains server is not working in order. But when the server is down how do other transactions carry on the counter?
The depositors want to keep their accounts updated but they cannot maintain in the absence of improper working of the automatic machine, they said adding that the server goes out mostly during the noon or after that.
The depositors come and get their works done easily because of the lesser number of visitors at the branch in the next half of the month. However, this trouble of the machine that is not working properly irks the savings accounts, passbook holders. They have urged the authorities concerned to provide hassle-free service to the consumers.
