India: Guardians reluctant to send their wards to school due to Corona

Kanpur:  Guardians are in a hodgepodge as to send their wards to school opening in days to come. They seem to be in double mind. Fear and anxiety distress them badly. Although the school authorities are extending a guarantee of social distancing, sanitizer and temperature check, yet the fearing parents dangle between to be or not to be. They do not find themselves in making a final decision.

This has brought a challenging situation before the school administration. So long as the exact figure of students readying to attend classes at school is not finalised, there will be a difficulty in making the perfect arrangement for the live classes and the offline classes.

Not more than 12 students will be allowed to sit in a class, the school stresses. This is just to keep them safe from virus attack.

There is trouble in running both the online and offline classes if the students agree on giving consent above 50 per cent for offline classes. In such a situation there will arise a paucity of staff, reports said.

However, it is not certain whether offline classes will run despite hospital-like conditions are arranged. Even the facility of the nurse is also provided.

One class 9 student denied going to school if the school opens. He made it clear his parents would not allow him to attend. It is an airborne disease. Precautions are a must during the tough days.
