Kanpur: What more can be said if one person has to feel painful discomfort after vaccination at a camp held at RTO here on Monday.
The vaccination needle pierced on the fleshy spot in the upper part of the hand caused the discharge of blood as cotton was not put on the hole.
The compounder who injected the jab did not put cotton to stop blood discharge. That was so because the team did not possess cotton. What was put was a piece of paper on the vaccinated point.
Learning of such a risky scene the people gathered there for vaccination got enraged. The camp provided liberty of on-spot registration for vaccination. It was also reported that there was uproar for over half an hour over this sort of laxity.
There were only syringes and vaccine foils with them. There was also no other vital accessories. Even a first aid kit was not available, as was reported.
As the camp was organised at RTO's smart driving licence section, the officials present there helped the team procure the wads of cotton.
