It is said that a total of about 250 injections were  earlier issued for treating the patients of black fungus at the hospital so far.

Doctors say the amphotericin injections are not available for the past two or three days. This has discontinued the  daily course of injection given to the patients after surgery.

The Medical College administration has not received the vials of injections from the Uttar Pradesh Medical Supplies Corporation. So the managing director has been contacted.

This medicine is said to be available in sufficient quantity at Agra Medical College.

According to the news, the GSVM principal Dr S Kala, the hospital has been making arrangements to bring the vials of injections from Agra.
