Kanpur: Trackless, traceless or missing police officer was located in the city's hotel on Tuesday night. It is after finding out that location the police department heaved a sigh of relief. Even the family members also were relieved following this information.
Posted as a Circle officer in the Unnao district, he was reported to be missing for the past several days. He was told to have taken a leave from the office and his family members were anxious due to his missing report.
He had not reached his village in Gorakhpur district. This point caused them to be distressed.Even he was not picking up the phone.
In absence of any exact information about him, the family members got worried and thought it better to contact the higher officers of the police department.
As the information regarding his missing on the part of the family was received by the Department officers the police soon came into action.
When the police started tracing his location it was found near Mall Road in the city.
Around the late night, the Unnao police reached a hotel at Mall Road. He was staying there. It was through the hotel entry register it was known that he had arrived along with lady police at the hotel in the afternoon on Tuesday.
It was ultimately solved that the police officer was not missing but he was planning to stay at the hotel.
