Kanpur: An elevated road stretching between UP Stock Exchange in Civil Lines and Ghantaghar Chauraha will be constructed. This will undoubtedly change the traffic infrastructure in the city.
The officers concerned have formulated this scheme of raising an elevated road to mitigate a durable remedy to the multiple problems.
The road users welcoming the decision have felt relief from crowded roads during peak hours.
According to the available news, a high-level development panel will furnish the framework for this elevated road. It will be a four-lane expanse heightened by the sturdy pillars.
The news reports also added that the members of the high-level committee will conduct a local inspection of the road. It is after then, there will begin the process of preparing a feasibility report for the project.
The panel will select the capable department for initiating the construction following the completion of the outline of the project.
Reportedly, a high-level committee consisting of DCP Traffic, District Commissioner, Chief Engineer PWD and other officials will look after the matter.
Commuters along Latush Road, Civil Lines and other congested areas to profit.
The markets around Latush Road, Quli Bazaar, Loha Mandi, Collector Ganj, Mool Ganj and other areas are busier sites in the city areas. A humongous traffic load ushers in regular jams.

In consideration of these complicated issues, the authorities have schemed to install the elevated road connecting Parade Chauraha, Mool Ganj, Loha Mandi, Nai Sadak, Halsey Road, Quli Bazaar and Collector Ganj Police station respectively.
