India: Kanpurites face colder days with mercury at 7° Celsius

Kanpur: On Wednesday, five people died due to heart attacks and three brain strokes.

For the first time in the season, it was seen that 102 patients were admitted to Cardiology.

According to the report of the control room, three patients reached dead in cardiology. Two died reportedly during treatment.

More than 100 patients have been admitted in the last 24 hours. Rakesh Ahirwar (76) of Shivala, M Ahluwalia (82) of Govind Nagar, and Ramu Lal Mishra (88) of Unnao died of a brain stroke.

Reportedly the day temperature increased by 01.2 degrees Celsius. The mercury reached 18.4 degrees Celsius to 19.6 degrees Celsius.

Barring January 1 and 14, the maximum temperature has not been 20 degrees or more so far.

Thursday's low temperature remains at 7° Celsius here. Due to icy winds, it was colder during the day.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the cold wave continues. CSA meteorologist Dr. SN Sunil Pandey says that there will be light fog in the morning and evening.

The colder condition will continue for the next two to three days, he continues.
