Iran Ready To Help End Ukraine Crisis: President

TEHRAN, Oct 20 (NNN-IRNA) – Iranian President, Ebrahim Raisi, yesterday, rejected certain “unsubstantiated claims” about Tehran’s stance towards the conflict in Ukraine, saying, Iran is ready to play a role in ending the crisis.

Making the remarks in a phone call with his Polish counterpart, Andrzej Duda, Raisi noted that, Tehran is ready to use “all its capacities and potential” to help end the conflict in Ukraine, according to the Iranian presidency’s website.

He stressed that, ever since the eruption of the conflict, Iran’s stance has been opposition to it.

Iran Seeks “Logical” Nuke Deal: FM

TEHRAN, Oct 19 (NNN-IRNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, said, Iran is seeking a “logical” nuclear agreement which will secure the interests of the country.

Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks in a state TV programme, referring to Iran’s demands in reaching an agreement on the revival of the 2015 nuclear deal, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

He noted that, “our goal in negotiations is to reach a good and stable agreement, and when we uphold the JCPOA, we must have a reliable level of guarantees.”

Tehran denounces violence against Iranian diplomatic missions in Europe

Iran to add 19 Western officials, institutes to "terrorists blacklist"

TEHRAN, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Iran's foreign minister said on Wednesday Tehran will add at least four institutes and 15 officials of the West to its "terrorists blacklist," the details of which will be announced in the coming hours, according to semi-official Tasnim news agency.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks during a visit to an institute in Tehran that supports epidermolysis bullosa (EB) patients.

22 countries requested to purchase Iran military drones, official says

19 October 2022; MEMO: Some 22 countries have submitted official requests to purchase Iranian-made military drones, former Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and top military aide to Iran's Supreme Leader, Major General Yahia Rahim Safavi, said.

"The current candidate countries to buy Iranian drones are Armenia, Tajikistan, Serbia, Algeria, Venezuela and other countries," Safavi said yesterday.

A deal was agreed on Oct. 6 when Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber, two senior officials from Iran's powerful Revolutionary Guards and an official from the Supreme National Security Council visited Moscow for talks with Russia about the delivery of the weapons.

Iran says U.S. "contradictory behavior" main obstacle to nuclear agreement

TEHRAN, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said Monday that the contradiction in the U.S. officials' words and actions is the main obstacle to an agreement on the revival of the 2015 nuclear deal, according to the official news agency IRNA.

Speaking at a weekly press conference, Kanaani added that U.S. officials sent messages to voice their viewpoints about the nuclear talks on the one hand, while showing contradictory behaviors in practice on the other.

Iran demands end to Kurdish attacks from Iraq

A statement issued by the Iranian Foreign Ministry explained that Abdollahian met Iraqi National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji and discussed bilateral relations and the situation in the Kurdistan region in northern Iraq, Russia's Sputnik has reported.
