BEIJING, November 22. /TASS/: Beijing is ready to keep bolstering bilateral relations with Moscow, Chinese President Xi Jinping said at his meeting with Russian State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin.

"China is willing to make joint efforts with Russia constantly bolstering bilateral relations, which are characterized by eternal good-neighborliness, comprehensive strategic interaction and mutually beneficial cooperation," the Chinese leader said.

PIA offers 20 pc student discount for China flights

BEIJING, Sep 3 (APP): Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), on occasion of International Students Day, has offered a 20 percent special student discount with an 80 kg baggage allowance on the flights for China.

The national flag carrier is currently operating a weekly flight on the Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad route every Sunday, official sources said on Saturday.

Expressing pleasure over the discount, Ali Imran said that a large number of Pakistani students are studying across China, and they could benefit from the offer during the upcoming winter holidays.

China: Magnitude of earthquake in Papua New Guinea Region revised from 5.8 to 5.4 -- GFZ

BEIJING, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Papua New Guinea Region at 2053 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 5.43 degrees south latitude and 145.81 degrees east longitude.
