BEIRUT, Lebanon, July 18 (NNN-NNA) – A senior Iranian diplomat, said that, Iran and its allies will not allow Israel and the United States to jeopardise the region’s security and stability.
“Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is making dangerous movements in the region, to gain popularity in his country. These movements and threats are not in the interest of the region,” Hossein Amir-abdollahian, special aide to Iranian President, Ali Larijani, said, during his meeting with House Speaker, Nabih Berri.
Abdollahian also emphasised the importance of keeping Lebanon away from the conflicts taking place in the region.
“We believe that security in Lebanon is very important, to achieve security in Iran and the whole region,” he said.
The Iranian diplomat also assured that Iran will always be of great support to the Lebanese population, army and resistance.
“We are looking forward to boosting ties with the country on all levels,” he said.– NNN-NNA
