Lions hunt buffalos. Their strategy is to separate one buffalo – usually young or weak, and then make a kill.
This is fairly common strategy in animal kingdom – including humans.
British applied it very effectively in past and Americans are applying it now. But see what happens when buffalos are united. Lions have nowhere to run.
