These could have been the sequence of events Rahul Gandhi seem to be saying, based on an Indian Express report.

Crooked deal was all worked out beforehand.

French President Francois Hollande was invited to New Delhi as the Republic Day chief guest.

According to The Indian Express, “Later that year, Ambani’s Reliance Defence became part of the offset programme of the Rs 59,000-crore Rafale deal through Dassault Reliance Aerospace Ltd (DRAL), in which it holds a 51% stake. Dassault Aviation, the French manufacturer of Rafale, holds 49% stake in DRAL.”

Two days before Hollande came to New Delhi, “On January 24, 2016, Reliance Entertainment announced that it had entered into an agreement with Gayet’s firm, Rouge International, to jointly produce a French film.”, reported The Indian Express. Julie Gayet is Hollande’s partner and actor.

Hollande comes to india as the Republic Day chief guest and signs the MoU with PM Modi for delivering 36 Rafale aircraf.

Sweet deal… everyone happy... the party, Modi, Hollande, his partner Gayet, and of course Ambai. The only problem is that Indian tax payers will be paying the costs that is three times higher than what was negotiated by the Congress government.

Today, Gandhi tweeted asking the prime minister to, “tell Anil, there is a big problem in France.”

The Indian Express ran a story this afternoon with the heading, “PM Modi ‘principal agent of Rafale deal’, Anil Ambani ‘pocketed loot’, quoting All India Mahila Congress president and Parliamentarian Sushmita Dev.
