Kanpur: A person was cheated by two in a very unique way on Wednesday. Securing the CCTV footage from the bank at Chakeri the police team is busy in solving the case.
Belonging to Sanigawan area one labourer Pappu Rajput approached the bank branch at Ramadevi area. He was in need of money so he thought it fit to withdraw a sum of 40 thousand rupees from his bank accounts.
After he came out of the bank two cheats met him. They told him they were badly in need of changes and gave him a wad of big currency notes amounting fifty thousand rupees. It would be better if he would deposit this amount to his accounts. He agreed and gave them thirty thousand rupees from the withdrawn amount holding in his hand. The cheats handed him something wrapped in the handkerchief and swiftly sparng out. But Pappu Rajput was cheated.
He called the police and narrated his story. The police first checked the Camera which exposed the incident in its recordings. The police afterwards swung into action.
