DHAKA, Jan 18 (NNN-BSS) – The Digital Bangladesh Mela 2020, begin today, in the capital, with the aim to showcase next generation 5G internet technology and building efficient ecosystem and manpower model in the coming digital era.
Prime Minister’s ICT Adviser, Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed, inaugurates the three-day expo at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, at Agargaon.
Post and Telecommunication Minister, Mustafa Jabbar, said, visitors would be able to experience the next generation internet technology 5G.
“5G is the tool for fourth industrial revelation and the country will see the first demonstration of the technology in the fair,” he said.
The fair will also feature a robot show, where the interactive humanoid robot will play soccer, following the command of hand gesture.
There will also be a play-zone where visitors can experience real-time virtual reality (VR) test through 5G technology.
A total of 100 stalls, pavilions and mini pavilions, are exhibited at the fair.
