India: Several donate blood at camp held in Jajmau area

Kanpur: A blood donation camp was organised at a residential complex at Nai Chungi in Jajmau area here on Sunday.

A large number of blood donors turned up at the place. The first among those who readied himself to donate his blood was a very thin person named Kashif.

When he was asked to comment on his very experience, he said: "I did not feel any kind of the pain or anxiety. There was absolutely no fear on my part. I came forward only because it was a big human deed."

Those who donated their blood at the camp were provided with a certificate, a medal with red ribbon and a square packet.

No worry was seen on the donor's face. Even a young boy was also donated his blood on the occasion.

The donors started pouring in on time. This made the organisers feel satisfied at holding the camp. It has not been confirmed but some saw city-level politicians also attending the camp.
