Kanpur: Every Bollywood actor holds a huge fan following and if it is none other than Govinda all try to have a look at him.
Passing through Ghatampur here he had to greet his fans as usual on Sunday.
There was a jam on the Kanpur-Sagar Highway beginning from the main intersection till Kushmanda Devi.
The black coloured car of Bollywood actor Govinda got stuck into the heavy jam near Kushmanda Devi.
Seeing the intensity of the jam, his driver dropped the car on the unpaved road below the highway.
Hiking on the bumpy unpaved road, his car reached Ghatampur intersection after covering a distance of one and a half kilometer in about half an hour.
After stopping for so long on the highway, people recognised him and started taking selfies with the car.
He was on his way to Khajuraho so he was seen in the city precincts.
Traffic Inspector Kamlesh Singh told that there was no information about his car passing through here.
Due to the work of the overbridge, there is a problem of some traffic jams.
The traffic police have been endeavouring hard to divert the traffic in order to clear the jam.
Actually film star Govinda stayed in Kanpur while going to Khajuraho. Fans welcomed him at the Landmark Hotel at Mall Road here.
