HONG KONG, April 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 hit 51 km ENE of La Paz, the Philippines at 10:24:56 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 28.72 km, was initially determined to be at 9.2256 degrees north latitude and 126.6692 degrees east longitude.
