'Death to Child Murderers': Iranians hold nationwide rallies against ‘genocide’ of children in Gaza

18 November 2023; MEMO: Tens of thousands of people took to the streets across Iran, including the capital Tehran, on Saturday to protest Israeli attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip and call for an immediate cease-fire, Anadolu Agency reports.

The nationwide rallies were held “in support of the oppressed children of Gaza” under the slogan, “Palestine is not alone,” as people marched with banners and posters condemning the Gaza war.

Iran "not directing, ordering" regional resistance groups against U.S.: spokesman

TEHRAN, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani on Monday reiterated that the resistance groups in the region "are not directed by Iran and do not take orders from Iran."

He made the remarks at a weekly press conference in the Iranian capital Tehran while commenting on the military operations by the regional resistance groups against the U.S. bases in Iraq.

Iranian president calls for coordinated pressure to stop Israeli "crimes" in Gaza

TEHRAN, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has called for greater coordination among "independent and free" states to put pressure on Israel to end its "crimes" against Gaza.

In a letter sent to the leaders of 50 countries, including those from China, Russia, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Kenya and Jordan, Raisi called on them to put Israel under "coordinated political and economic pressures" to that end, according to a statement published on the website of his office on Monday.

Iranians Stage Rallies In Support Of Palestinians In Gaza

TEHRAN, Nov 19 (NNN-TASNIM) – Iranians held rallies across the country yesterday, to express support for the Palestinians in the war-torn Gaza Strip, and condemn Israel’s “crimes” against them.

The rallies were staged in the Iranian capital, Tehran, as well as, other cities, including Tabriz, Shiraz, Isfahan, Rasht, Bushehr, Arak, and Qazvin.

In a rally in Tehran, protesters chanted slogans against the United States and Israel, while expressing support for the Palestinians in Gaza, particularly the children.

Iran unveils new homegrown hypersonic missile

TEHRAN, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) on Sunday unveiled a new domestically-developed hypersonic ballistic missile, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported.

The missile, dubbed Fattah-2 (Conqueror-2), was unveiled during a visit by Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to an exhibition of the achievements of the IRGC's Aerospace Force in the Iranian capital Tehran, the report said.

According to Tasnim, Fattah-2 is equipped with a hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV) warhead that can maneuver and glide at hypersonic speed.

IAEA Board of Governors to investigate Tel Aviv nuclear threats

London, IRNA – The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors will discuss the consequences of the risks posed by the use or threat to use of nuclear weapons by the Zionist regime at a meeting next week, according to the informed sources.

IRNA correspondent in London, quoting informed sources, reported on Thursday that the discussion will take place at the council meeting.

'Zionist regime’s backers not qualified to preach human rights to Iran'

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani has rebuked Western countries for drafting and voting for an anti-Iran UN resolution, saying they are not qualified to preach human rights to Iranians.

In reaction to the anti-Iran resolution in the Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday, Kanaani said that the countries that have a long history of systematic human rights violations and crimes against nations are in no position to give human rights advice to the Iranian government and people.

At Arab-Islamic summit, Iran’s Raisi calls for boycotting, prosecuting Israel

12 November 2023; MEMO: Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi on Saturday said that Israel must be tried in international courts for its attacks against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, reports Anadolu Agency.

In his first official visit to Saudi Arabia, and the first by an Iranian president in more than a decade, Raisi, speaking at the Arab-Islamic summit, said the first and most urgent measure is to stop the killing of the people of Gaza.

Iran President Raisi says action, not words, needed on Gaza

Nov 11 (Reuters) - Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said on Saturday that the time had come for action over the conflict in Gaza rather than talk as he headed to Saudi Arabia to attend a summit on the war between Israel and Hamas militants.

"Gaza is not an arena for words. It should be for action," Raisi said at Tehran airport before departing for the summit of Arab and Islamic nations in the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh.

"Today, the unity of the Islamic countries is very important," he added.

Iranian, Qatari FMs discuss political ways to end Israeli attacks on Gaza

TEHRAN, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani exchanged views on the political solutions to end the Israeli attacks against the Gaza Strip.

In a phone call on Thursday, the two sides strongly condemned the Israeli attacks against people in Gaza and expressed deep concern over the unfavorable humanitarian situation in the coastal enclave, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said on its website on Friday.
