Iran is ready to supply oil to Europe if sanctions lifted

06 Sep 2022; MEMO: Iran is ready to supply oil to Europe should sanctions imposed on it over its nuclear programme be lifted, spokesman of Iran's Foreign Ministry Nasser Kanani said yesterday.

AFP reported Kanani saying: "Given Europe's energy supply problems triggered by the Ukraine crisis, Iran could provide Europe's energy needs if sanctions against it are lifted."

Iran condemns deadly attack on Russian Embassy in Kabul

TEHRAN, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman on Monday strongly condemned a deadly blast outside the Russian Embassy in the Afghan capital of Kabul, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported.

Sympathizing in a message with the Russian government and the families of the terror attack's victims, Nasser Kanaani called on Afghan officials to implement more serious measures to ensure the security of the embassies and diplomatic missions in the country.

Iran says answer to U.S. nuclear deal responses "constructive, clear, legal"

TEHRAN, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- The Iranian foreign ministry said on Monday that Iran's answer to the U.S. response to its viewpoints on the European Union's proposed final draft of a potential nuclear agreement was "constructive, clear and legal," semi-official Mehr news agency reported.

If the other side has the reciprocal determination, Iran's answer can prepare the ground for the conclusion of the negotiations on the revival of the 2015 nuclear deal in a very short period, Nasser Kanaani, the ministry spokesman, told a weekly press conference.

JCPOA revival not necessary if US provides no guarantee: expert

Tehran, IRNA – Deputy Secretary General of the Islamic Coalition Party Hamid Reza Taraghi said the negotiating team is after gaining JCPOA economic interests for the Iranian nation but if the US provides no guarantee, reviving the nuclear deal will not be necessary.

Speaking to IRNA, Taraghi referred to the Iranian negotiating team’s insistence on receiving guarantee from the United States, saying that there is no unity and integration among Congress, Senate and the president with regard to negotiations.

Iran ready to host new round of economic commission with India

Iranian commander: Enemies threat navigation by small espionage units

Bandar Abbas, IRNA - Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces said on Monday that the enemies threaten navigation by deploying small espionage units in their latest attempt to compensate for the reduction in their forces in the Middle East.

Speaking at the ceremony for the deployment of surface and subsurface battle equipment enhanced in the Iranian Navy’s plants, Major General Mohammad Baqeri said that Iran believed that freedom of navigation should be equally protected for everyone and it would defend the right for the Iranian nation.

Iran seeks to buy Su-35 fighters from Russia: Iranian commander

TEHRAN, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- The purchase of Su-35 fighter jets from Russia is on the agenda of the Iranian Air Force, Commander of the Iranian Air Force Hamid Vahedi said on Sunday.

The final decision on the purchase of Su-35 fighters rests with the Iranian Army Command and the Armed Forces General Staff Command, Vahedi told Iran's BORNA news agency in an interview.

Last month, Western media reported that Iran was seeking to exchange its unmanned aerial vehicles with Russian Su-35 multipurpose fighters in a barter deal.
