SANAA, Sept 17 (NNN-SABA) – Yemen’s Houthi rebels warned that, the attacked sites of Saudi Arabian national energy giant Aramco are still in their “sights.”

“We warn companies and foreigners to stay away from Aramco plants that we struck, because they are still in our sights and could be hit at any time,” Houthi military spokesman, Yahya Sarea said.

“We reaffirm to the Saudi regime that our hands can reach any place at any time … Saudi Arabia should stop its aggression and economic blockade against Yemen,” Sarea said.

Rashid Saeed of the Sudan Professionals’ Association is a civilian member of Sudan’s ruling coalition and has asked the transitional government to bring the troops home. ADEN, Yemen, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Thousands of Yemenis gathered Thursday in the southern Yemeni port city of Aden to show their support for the anti-terror role played by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the war-torn country.

The rally's organizer, the pro-secession Southern Transitional Council (STC), said in a statement that the rally aimed at "expressing gratitude for the UAE armed forces that firmly stand with the southern forces in confronting terror groups such as the Yemen-based al-Qaida branch and the Islamic State (IS) group."

ADEN, Yemen (AP) — Fighting between their allies in southern Yemen has opened a gaping wound in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates’ coalition against the country’s rebels. If they can’t fix it, it threatens to tear the country apart into even smaller warring pieces.

SANAA, Yemen (AP) — Yemeni medics said on Monday they pulled dozens of bodies from the rubble of a Houthi rebel-run detention center that was hit a day earlier by Saudi-led coalition airstrikes, killing over 100 people and wounding dozens.

The attack was one of the deadliest in more than four years of war in Yemen that have claimed tens of thousands of lives, thrust millions to the brink of famine and spawned the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.

TEHRAN, Iran, Sept 2 (NNN-IRNA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry, on Sunday, strongly condemned the deadly airstrikes on a Yemen prison by the Saudi-led coalition.

In a statement, the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Abbas Mousavi, said that, “the bombardment of the detention centre was the latest war crime, committed by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen.”

The Saudi-led coalition commits these “crimes” by using U.S. and other western countries’ weapons, Mousavi said, adding that, the Yemeni people hold the U.S. and some western countries “responsible for these crimes.”

SANAA, Yemen (AP) — The Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen staged multiple airstrikes on a detention center operated by the Houthi rebels in the southwestern province of Dhamar, killing at least 100 people and wounding dozens more Sunday, officials and the rebels’ health ministry said.

SANAA, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- At least 50 prisoners of war were killed when the Saudi-led coalition launched a series of airstrikes overnight on a prison in Yemen's central province of Dhamar, the Houthi-controlled health ministry said in a statement early Sunday morning.

"At least 50 were killed in seven airstrikes by the coalition warplanes against the prison and 100 others wounded, as rescue teams were still searching for possible survivors under rubble," it said, adding that the death toll could rise as many injured are in critical conditions.

ADEN (Reuters) - Southern Yemeni separatists said they arrested dozens of government loyalists in Aden on Saturday after President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi’s forces withdrew from the port city following air strikes by the United Arab Emirates.

The outbreak of hostilities between Yemen’s Saudi-backed government and the UAE-backed separatists is the latest twist in a multi-faceted war in Yemen pitting several factions and armies against each other.
