TEHRAN, March 5 (Xinhua) -- Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Saturday agreed to "exchange documents" by mid-June to settle remaining issues, official IRNA news agency reported.

Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), made the remarks at a joint press conference with Rafael Grossi, visiting head of the IAEA in Iranian capital Tehran.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — The head of the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog met Saturday with Iranian officials as talks in Vienna over Tehran’s tattered atomic deal with world powers appear to be reaching their end.

Rafael Mariano Grossi of the International Atomic Energy Agency described his weekend visit to Tehran as a means “to address outstanding questions” as negotiators back in Europe appear to be reaching a deadline to see if the 2015 accord can be revived.

TEHRAN, March 4 (Xinhua) -- The Iranian foreign minister said on Friday that Iran will not concede its red lines despite the West's rush to reach a deal in the Vienna nuclear talks.

Hossein Amir Abdollahian made the remarks in a phone conversation with European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, according to the Foreign Ministry website.

The agency said Tehran also demanded that "politically motivated" claims by UN watchdog the IAEA about its nuclear work be dropped.

Feb 28 (Reuters) - Iran said on Monday that reviving a 2015 nuclear deal is possible if Western powers take a political decision to resolve three remaining issues, as indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington enter a crucial stage.

Iran's foreign ministry spokesman identified the remaining outstanding issues as: the extent to which sanctions would be rolled back, providing guarantees that the United States will not quit the pact again, and resolving questions over uranium traces found at several old but undeclared sites in Iran.

TEHRAN, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Mohammad Eslami said that the Islamic republic is entitled to develop its "civilian" nuclear program, Press TV reported on Friday.

Dismissing allegations by some countries that Iran is seeking "to make an atomic bomb," Eslami said Thursday that this is the right of his country to develop its civilian nuclear energy program, given that it is a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

22 Feb 2022; MEMO: Talks on restoring a deal to curb Iran's nuclear programme and ease sanctions are near conclusion, a Russian envoy said on Tuesday, and sources close to the negotiations said a prisoner swap between Iran and the United States is expected soon, Reuters reports.

"Apparently the negotiations on restoration of #JCPOA are about to cross the finish line," Mikhail Ulyanov said on Twitter, using the 2015 agreement's full name, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

TEHRAN, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Iranian parliament members said in a statement on Sunday that the government should not strike a nuclear deal with the Western countries unless they guarantee not to pull out of it, official news agency IRNA reported.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran’s president has arrived in Qatar for a summit of gas exporting countries, the state-run news outlet reported Monday.

IRNA said President Ebrahim Raisi is leading a delegation to the Gas Exporting Countries Forum in Doha, designed to develop economic, energy and political cooperation between Iran and Qatar. It is Raisi’s first foreign trip since he took office in August.

IRNA said five ministers, including those leading the country’s foreign and oil policies, accompanied the Iranian president.
