KIEV, Sept 28 (NNN-AGENCIES) — Ukrainian top security adviser Oleksandr Danylyuk announced his resignation Friday in a new setback for President Volodymyr Zelensky, caught in a global scandal after a controversial phone call with Donald Trump.

The surprise move by the respected reformer was the first high-profile resignation since comedian-turned-president Zelensky took office in May on the promises to fight corruption.

Danylyuk, the secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, did not disclose his reasons behind the resignation.

ROME, Sept 28 (NNN-AGENCIES) — Hundreds of thousands of youths demonstrated across European cities on Friday in the second in a global series of protests to avert a climate catastrophe.

Waving signs and yelling slogans, schoolchildren and students in Italian cities were among those joining the latest “Friday for Future” rallies.

Organisers said 200,000 people joined a march in Milan while another major rally snaked through the centre of Rome. Demos were called in some 180 Italian cities.

"Dual citizenship is an objective need now and meets the Ukrainian interests, excluding recognizing dual citizenship with Russia," he pointed out clarifying that it is not the position of the entire government, but his own.

"If the president takes this decision, we will inform you," he told journalists on Friday. "The French colleagues are now discussing details of the service and so forth. So far, no clear procedure has been agreed, it will be done later in the day. The president will take a decision depending on that."

"The Okhotnik unmanned aerial vehicle has performed its first joint flight with a fifth-generation Su-57 plane," the ministry said.

LONDON (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Friday his government will obey the law and remains confident the country can leave the European Union with a deal.

Johnson has vowed that Britain will leave the bloc on Oct. 31 with or without a divorce agreement, but parliament has passed a law to compel him to seek an extension if he has not got an agreement by Oct. 19.

He was asked on Friday if he was looking for ways to delay or get around the new law, which he has dubbed a “surrender act”.
