SANAA, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Yemen's Houthi rebels launched drone attacks on several locations in Saudi Arabia on Monday, the group's al-Masirah TV said.
The targets included the airports of Abha and Najran, and the King Khalid airbase in Saudi Arabia, according to al-Masirah TV.
There was no confirmation from Saudi Arabia on the attacks.
The Houthis have recently stepped up missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia and its ally, exiled Yemeni government forces. Saudi's air defenses had intercepted and destroyed many missiles and bomb-laden drones before they reached their targets.
Saudi Arabia has been leading an Arab military coalition against Iran-allied Houthis in Yemen for more than four years in support of the exiled government of Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
