KANPUR: Thursday remains a rainy day for the residents of Jajmau. The rain commences since the morning and continues to long hours in the day. The air has now turned out to be comfortably cooler. There is a marked difference between the previous day and today. The minimum temperature has lowered to a considerable degree. The hourly temperature at 5 pm was recorded at 28° Celsius.
As usually, the rains brought power cut in the morning that persisted till afternoon. Luckily the power supply was restored after 2 pm.
Residents were looking desperate for water as they could not store the water due to cut in the power supply. However, the restoration removed the concerns of the residents living in this area.
