Kanpur: Bus ride is quite easy for all those Jajmauites boarding from Nai Chungi crossing.
But how are the humble passengers duped by the roadways employee deputed to issue the ticket on different routes?
They charge the full fare but do not print the small thinly ticket showing the complete amount taken in the name of fare.
If a passenger happens to complete the journey up to the crowded Bada Chauraha, a fixed sum of Rs 14 is charged but the conductor rarely returns the balance if the amount exceeds.
Further, if any passenger accompanies the child above ten years, the conductor takes the amount of the fare but normally shirts from issuing a ticket printed by a handheld electronic machine swiftly.
The Roadways buses are being plied on the city roads for the comfort of the daily commuters but to our extreme surprise, unnecessary hurdles cause to them.
However, the daily commuters point out they have to undertake the roadways bus ride within the city precincts with a feel of inconvenience.
