India: Rural Kanpur suffers more under dengue cases

Kanpur: As many as 13 more cases  reported afresh have pushed tally to a total of 298 dengue cases in Kanpur.

Out of the total registered numbers, 237 patients have been recorded in rural areas of Kanpur.

On the remaining 61 infections were identified in the urban regions of the district.

The Health Department has recorded one victim each in New Azad Nagar and 10 more areas namely- Gujepur and Markhara in Bilhaur, Khersa in Bidhnu, Bamburiya in Sarsaul, Jawahar Nagar West in Ghatampur, Parihar PCO street of Kushmanda Nagar, Bhavanipur of Chaubeypur Block, Ramsari, Patara and Hafizpur.

Additionally, three cases were registered in the area of Babhiyapur on Wednesday.

Regular fogging and repellant sprays are being dine to eradicate the mosquitoes.

The larvae-borne producing in the stagnant water needs to be checked.
