Kanpur: The water level at ghats has gone up due to rains in Uttarakhand. We are informing people not to go near the stairs of ghats, said Arpita Singh, Ghat Supervisor.
Amid torrential rains, the state of Uttarakhand has witnessed flooded roads, landslides, and overflowing rivers. This natural fury leaves people stranded on various places.
The death toll has reached 72 and as many as four people have reported to be missing due to rain-related incidents in Uttarakhand.
The rain has also led to houses collapsing. This sort of flood has caused devastation on large scale.
