Kanpur: In a meeting held with Labour Department officials on Friday the KDA vice-chairman Arvind Singh discussed with them its unused land lying in areas like Babu Purwa and Rai Purwa here.
Two closed hospital lands had been lying unused with the labour department. When Cawnpore Improvement Trust existed those lands were given to the labour department for a special purpose, as reported.
The KDA vice-chairman asked the officials to examine the documentation completed in this regard.
According to the news officials of both the departments inspected the sites and found that land could be brought into use for the housing purposes.
The KDA officials would also check the papers regarding the land, said the PRO.
