ULAN BATOR, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Mongolian Prime Minister Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene will pay an official visit to Singapore from Wednesday to Saturday at the invitation of his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong to boost ties, according to the Mongolian Foreign Ministry.
This will be the first visit to Singapore by a Mongolian prime minister after an interval of 11 years, the ministry said in a press release on Monday.
"It is believed that this visit will make a real contribution to strengthening bilateral friendly relations with Singapore, a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and an influential country in Southeast Asia, promoting political dialogue and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, investment, economy and others," it said.
