TIANJIN, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Bell Textron Inc. announced the upcoming delivery of a Bell 429 twin-engine helicopter to Shaanxi Helicopter Co., Ltd., one of the prominent players in China's helicopter sector, during the 6th China Helicopter Exposition held in north China's Tianjin Municipality.

This marks the addition of the fifth twin-engine aircraft to Shaanxi Helicopter's versatile fleet.

HONG KONG (AP) — The former CEO of Alibaba, Daniel Zhang, resigned as head of its cloud computing unit Monday in a surprise move as the Chinese e-commerce empire wraps up a leadership reshuffle.

Alibaba said it will invest $1 billion in a technology fund Zhang will establish to support the firm’s strategies for future growth.

Zhang stepped down on the same day he gave up his roles as Alibaba’s CEO and chairman.

China think tank says India is 'sabotaging' G20 for its own agenda

China’s exports and imports fall in August as weak global demand keeps its economy under pressure

HONG KONG (AP) — China’s exports and imports both fell in August from a year earlier, reflecting tepid global demand that is adding to pressures on its slowing economy.

Customs data released Thursday showed exports for August slumped 8.8% to $284.87 billion in the fourth straight month of decline. Imports slid 7.3% to $216.51 billion.

The total trade surplus fell to $68.36 billion from $80.6 billion in July.
