U.S. Convoys Transport “Stolen Syrian Oil, Grains” To Bases In Iraq: Media

DAMASCUS, Dec 18 (NNN-SANA) – A 40-tanker convoy, carrying oil taken from Syrian oil fields, was witnessed departing Syria’s north-eastern al-Hasakah province, for U.S. bases in neighbouring Iraq, yesterday.

According to local sources, the convoy exited the Yarubiya countryside, on the Iraqi-Syrian border, through the unauthorised Mahmoudiya crossing.

Israeli Missile Strike Targets Syrian Capital

DAMASCUS, Dec 2 (NNN-SANA) – An Israeli missile attack, hit military sites in the vicinity of the Syrian capital, Damascus early today, the latest in a spate of Israeli attacks against Syria, according to the national Syrian TV.

Multiple explosions were heard in Damascus after midnight, in what appeared to be a hostile missile attack.

The state-owned TV later confirmed it was an Israeli missile attack on the vicinity of Damascus.

Syria: Drone attack launched on US military base

11 November 2023; MEMO: The US Al-Tanf military base in southern Syria, located in the Syrian desert near the Jordanian border, was attacked on Friday by unidentified drones, according to local sources.

Sources added that the drones targeted the US base, but there was no information about any casualties, according to Anadolu Agency’s correspondent.

Syrian military foils rebel drone attack in nothern region

DAMASCUS, Nov. 8 (Xinhua) -- The Syrian military on Wednesday thwarted rebel drone attacks in the rural areas of two northern provinces, said the Syrian defense ministry.

In a statement carried by the state news agency SANA, the ministry said the army intercepted more than ten drones launched by "terrorist groups" toward civilian zones and military locations in Aleppo and Idlib.

Over the past month, Syrian and Russian forces have intensified targeted offenses against rebel groups in northern Syria, in retaliation of the latter's drone attacks on government areas.

Explosions Reported At U.S. Base In E. Syria Amid Escalating Tensions

DAMASCUS, Nov 6 (NNN-SANA) – Sounds of powerful explosions reverberated through a U.S. base, in Syria’s north-eastern province of al-Hasakah last night, a war monitor reported.

The explosions were heard at the Qasrak base, in the countryside of al-Hasakah, followed by the presence of unmanned aerial vehicles hovering over the area, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The Observatory said, uncertainty looms over the nature of the explosions, whether they were the consequence of routine military drills or deliberate targeting.

Explosion Rocks U.S. Military Base In North-Eastern Syria: Report

DAMASCUS, Nov 3 (NNN-SANA) – An explosion rocked a U.S. military base in Syria’s north-eastern province of Hasakah last night, a pro-government radio station reported.

The blast was heard at a U.S. military base, located in the Shaddadi area, in what appeared to be a drone attack, according to the Sham FM radio.

No more details were provided, but the base and other U.S. military bases in eastern Syria have been subject to drone attacks recently, against the backdrop of the Israeli military campaign in the Gaza Strip.

U.S. Airstrikes Hit Trucks On Syrian-Iraqi Border

DAMASCUS, Oct 31 (NNN-SANA) – U.S. airstrikes hit truckloads of construction materials, on the Syrian-Iraqi border yesterday, media reports said.

According to the Lebanese al-Mayadeen TV, seven trucks transporting construction materials were targeted by U.S. bombings in eastern Syria, near the border with Iraq.

In response, 15 rockets were fired back, targeting a U.S. base in the al-Omar oil field, in the outskirts of Deir al-Zour, said the report.

In a meeting at the Syrian Foreign Ministry, Assad said, the core of the American policy has been the “relentless pursuit of military escalation and the deliberate creation of disorder,” a strategy that Europe has mirrored.
