Kanpur: Hot with hazy sunshine remained the highlight today while the real feel of the temperature was recorded at 42° Celsius.
Though schools in Jajmau are over at 12 in the day, the students are mostly irritated with the scorching heat of the sun.
One class 9 student Saad said that it was too tough for him to return from school at the noon. He was too much disturbed by the severity of unbearable sunshine.
Telling of his ordeal he stated though he got an e-rickshaw timely he could not bear the brunt of the hot sun on the way.
He also told there were slight rains when his class was running. Soon it was over.
What fetched him more satisfaction was the news of the holidays for many days. It was better to escape from the hot sunshine for him, he maintained.
