MOSCOW, April 30. /TASS/: Confirmed coronavirus cases in Russia grew by 7,363 in the past day, totaling 18,182,354, the federal anti-coronavirus crisis center reported on Saturday. The coronavirus growth rate equaled 0.04%, the crisis center said.
Coronavirus hospitalizations grew by 0.63% in the past 24 hours to 2,574 from 2,558 a day before, it said. Coronavirus recoveries in Russia increased by 11,022 in the past 24 hours to 17,539,985, the crisis center reported. On April 29, Russia registered 11,041 COVID-19 recoveries. The share of coronavirus patients discharged from hospitals upon their recovery grew to 96.5% of all infections, the latest data suggest.
Coronavirus fatalities in Russia increased by 157 in the past day, totaling 375,884, the crisis center reported. On April 29, Russia registered 161 coronavirus deaths. The COVID-19 mortality rate remained unchanged at 2.07%, it said.
Confirmed coronavirus cases in Moscow grew by 485 in the past 24 hours compared to 570 a day before, totaling 2,760,698, the crisis center said. The coronavirus growth rate in the Russian capital equaled 0.02%, the latest data suggest.
Coronavirus recoveries in the Russian capital increased by 616 in the past 24 hours to 2,568,474, the crisis center said. Coronavirus fatalities in Moscow grew by 18 in the past day compared to 17 a day before, totaling 43,243, the latest figures show.
