Moscow, April 23, IRNA – Defense Minister Brigadier-General Amir Hatami said upon arriving in Moscow on Tuesday that he is going to talk about the dangers of Trumpism and the necessity to fight it.
'The world today is encountering numerous security issues, the most important of which may be Trumpism,' Brigadier-General Hatami said.
He said that Trumpism and Nazism have a lot in common, including selfishness, oppression and trampling on international laws and humane principles, and also hoped that Moscow security conference would deal with the dangers of the issue and would lead to a safer world.
Brigadier-General Hatami is taking part in the event at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu.
He will address the meeting on Tuesday.
Hatami and Shoigu will discuss mutual, regional and international issues as well.
On the sidelines of the conference, in which 80 countries have taken part, the Iranian defense minister is slated to hold meetings with defense officials of other countries.
Iran has over past years participated in the event at the ministerial level.
