Tehran, IRNA – A member of the Zionist regime’s legislation body has acknowledged that the Tel Aviv regime’s fascist policies that have been leading to the massacre of Palestinian people should be blamed for the onset of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by Palestinian resistance against the regime.
In an interview with Al Jazeera TV network, member of the Knesset and leftist Hadash coalition Ofer Cassif said he warned earlier that the circumstances would erupt if the cabinet of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not change its policies towards the Palestinian people.
Condemning the Israeli atrocities against the Palestinians throughout the occupation of their territories, Cassif said, we must analyze those terrible incidents in the right context – and that is the “ongoing occupation.”
He acknowledged, “The Israeli government, which is a fascist government, supports, encourages, and leads pogroms against the Palestinians. There is an ethnic cleansing going on. It was obvious the writing was on the wall, written in the blood of the Palestinians.”
Elsewhere in his interview, he warned against the spillover of the ongoing conflict between the Palestinian resistance movement and the Israeli regime, saying, “I’m afraid that some of the elements like Hezbollah are going to join this war. I hope not, of course. Indeed, for the sake of all people, of all civilians, Palestinians and Israelis alike, I hope that that this is going to end as soon as possible.”
