17 October 2023; MEMO: Major General Dr Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shousha, Governor of North Sinai, yesterday received Dr Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Egyptian Minister of Health, in the city of Bir Al-Abd during his visit to North Sinai Governorate.
The governor emphasised that the health minister’s visit included inspecting a number of hospitals in the governorate as well as inspecting ambulance units in order to ensure the readiness of hospitals to receive the wounded and meet any special requests related to the health and medical sector in North Sinai.
The governor ensured the raising of the level of readiness in hospitals and medical units, providing emergency medications and blood bags, and supporting hospitals with medical staff to receive Palestinian casualties from Gaza.
