Tehran, IRNA- The Islamic Resistance in Iraq says it has targeted Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, in a latest of attack on Zionist targets deep inside Israel in a show of support for the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

IRNA, citing the media of the Iraqi Islamic Resistance War said that the attack in the early hours of Wednesday was carried out using several drones.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties from the strike on the airport that has been targeted by the resistance group several times in recent weeks.

The Islamic Resistance had previously warned that it would intensify its operations against the regime in the occupied territories if the genocidal onslaught on Gaza continued.

The group also announced on Monday morning that it targeted a drone base of the Zionist regime located on the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.

Last week, the Islamic Resistance of Iraq carried out a number of anti-Israeli operations, including targeting a military base of the Zionist regime in the "Rash Pina" airport located in the Al-Jalil region.

Since the onset of the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, regional resistance groups including Iraq’s Islamic Resistance keep targeting US and Israeli interests in an effort to exert pressure on the regime to end its bloodshed in Gaza.
